Bradford Laser made the decision to work towards the BS EN 1090-1:2009 back in 2019 as a company we are committed to continuously improving services, the company’s quality objectives, product quality and investment in standards and employees.
What is UKCA and ISO 9001:2015 and why is it important to us at Bradford Laser Cutting Ltd
UK Conformity Assessed (UKCA) marking is the UK product marking used for goods being placed on the market within Great Britain, and applies to most goods that were previously subject to CE marking. The requirements, as well as processes and standards used to affirm conformity, remain the same as CE marking.
UKCA marking came into effect on 1st January 2021. The circumstances in which businesses can use UKCA marking also remains the same as CE marking.
ISO 9001 is the world's most recognised Quality Management System (QMS) standard. It aims to help businesses like Bradford Laser Cutting Ltd meet the needs of their customers, suppliers, employees and others more effectively. This is achieved by building a framework ensure consistent quality in the provision of goods and services we provide here at Bradford Laser Cutting Ltd.
